Straps should be criss crossed and pinned or tacked down in the back.
As posted on costume board - we are wearing FOOTLESS tights not convertibles.
Yellow ribbon was pinned to their costumes for their neck piece.
Dynamites
We are wearing FOOTED tights in leos toast.
We are wearing Black economy taps with pink ribbon that I will be providing.
I also have pink ribbon for their necks that will be handed out at comp.
Pink jackets need to be pinned on the inside seam to prevent falling off.
Please cut out the white tag inside the jacket.

Celebrity Dance Competition
Please check the following list for your dancers BE THERE TIME. Dancers must arrive at this time and BE STAGE READY. The "dance at time" is approximate and can be earlier. The Competition will be held at the Mesa Arts Center. Address: 1 East Main Street (85211). There is $5 paid parking up close and almost 2,000 parking spaces within a block. Please remember there is no photos or video allowed in the competition. More Info below the list.

I would like all the dancers to wear their costumes to class next week and have a dress rehearsal so we can fix any problems since the costumes are new. Make up is not necessary but please have hair pulled back in appropriate style.
If you ordered tights or foot undies please be checking in at the desk. They should be arriving any day. We are still waiting on a few costumes to arrive. Call me if you have any questions about these. The costume list is as follows (Miss Sara will post her list later)
All Hair (except Miracle and Zero to Hero) is going to be parted over dancers right eye pulled back into a low ponytail STRAIGHTENED with a STRAIGHTENER. Please pin back any fly aways and glue it down. Clip goes over dancer's left brow. Ribbon will be given out in class - be looking for it to come home. Don't forget earrings and bright pink lips for Saturday!!
Dynamites / Zero to Hero Hair: bangs pulled up (like co pictures)with company clip on top and curled all over. We will be wearing our fuchsia jazz costume if our tap costumes don't come in - cross your fingers because I want that tap costume BAD!!

Bang Bang Boogie is wearing the company production costume from last year - red black and white - need hats!!
Dawl moms I need help with finding hats - please call me.

QUEEN CREEK PARADE and SHOW
Reminders for the week of Dec 1st:
Friday, December 5th 5:30 - mandatory practice for Parade Routine (no dynamites) at Payne Jr. High - corner of Higley and San Tan.
Saturday, Dec. 6th - Parade and Show
Plan on meeting in down town Queen Creek (around Ellsworth and Ocotillo) at 9:15. The parade starts at 10:00am. More exact directions will be given out as soon as we are assigned a position in the parade. Dancers will wear the star spankies, silver top (red hoodies if cold) new red and black skirts and black converse for marching The parade ends at approx. 12:00. Dynamites will wear all the same but please put the white sweats on them - LABEL because they will get hot and want to take off.
We will be dancing at Desert Mountain Park (this is where the parade ends) at 1:00. It is only a 30min show. We are going to wear black star spankies, new red and black skirts and silver tops for all dances. Please bring appropriate shoes for the following dances. My parade liaison said that there is a small stage with a grassy area around it. We will meet there after we are one marching at 12:45.

Congrats on a great job at State Fair - Next Up Disneyland.
Please note the following Mandatory Rehearsals:
Big Noise (opening #) Saturday November 8th - ALL DANCERS!!!
Mandatory 2 weeks prior for Disneyland and KAR - You can not miss class the week of November 10th and 17th - we will be setting dances and running opening number during class these weeks. It is imperative that you be in class.
Mandatory Dress Rehearsal for Disneyland Wednesday November 12th 6:30-7:30 with parent meeting to follow. Distribution of tickets and show information will be handed out at this time.
Please keep checking emails and blog for info on KAR. We will be giving it out as soon as we get it.
Queen Creek Holiday Parade and SHOW!!
Yep we are adding the Queen Creek show this year instead of doing our annual Christmas show out in North Mesa. We are still looking for a sponsor for our float. Please Please Please contact myself or Kim Jackson if you have any leads.
The girls have already learned the majority of the parade routine and are so excited!!
Mandatory Parade practice Friday Dec. 5th 5:30 at Payne Jr. High. All company members except the dynamites (they will be sitting on the float).
